Spring into the Past

May 1st and May 2nd

May 1st and 2nd are the dates for the 8th annual museum tour event. Again this year were have 18 museums participating. Each museum will have special events or new displays for this two day tour. Bowne will be having a bake sale, our quilt will be on display and tickets for the quilt raffle will be on sale. We will also have a few new displays. The Tri River Museum Network (sponsors of the tour) will have punch tickets available for all who want to have a chance to win $50, $100, or $200. There is no cost for these cards. Just stop by one of the participating museums and find out how you could win some money and enjoy exploring these wonderful conservators of our heritage. Hours for the event are from 11am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday. Bowne will be open until 8pm on Saturday so that those attending the dinner at the Methodist church will be able to come and visit with us. Come and visit us and show your support for all the hard work the members do to keep our buildings up and running. Also pick up a brochure and map so you can visit some of the other participants in this event. A great fun and educational event.
